Salary: Grade 7 (£32,620 to £35,646 pa) or Grade 8: (£36,715 to £43,840 pa)
Expected start date: August/September 2011
The University of Sussex invites applications for two permanent Lectureships in the Department of Economics, housed within the School of Business, Management and Economics. 
We are looking for researchers with outstanding potential to work in an expanding and dynamic economics department which attracts high quality postgraduate and undergraduate students.  Candidates should have a doctorate or equivalent, a record of publications or excellent prospects for this, preferably teaching experience and either success in attracting research funding or demonstrating the potential to do so. 
In addition to being highly research active, the successful candidates will be able to teach and assess undergraduate and graduate students, supervise doctoral students, and contribute to departmental and university administration.
