Manager for Kompas Cyber Media

Formerly was known as Kompas Online, which provided the Internet edition of the Kompas Daily newspaper. Towards the end of 1997 the management decided that a separate entity was required to focus solely on Internet related business, and hence Kompas Cyber Media was incorporated. The company not only offers advertising opportunities to local companies, but also can provide services such as creative design, production, web applications, a payment facility, Internet consulting and web maintenance.
Kompas Cyber Media is committed to support and boost the use of the Internet and E-Commerce in Indonesia. This objective forms is one part of a non-profit activity undertaken by the company, which often can be seen supporting seminars and other Internet related campaigns locally. Kompas Cyber Media has established a “one-stop service” for developing and managing a website.
1. Marketing Communication Manager
Responsibilities:
• Project managing Marcomm campaigns including developing concepts of copy and campaign strategies, researching product and market information, supervising the work of freelancers, and managing relationships with teams and steakholders. The Marcomm Manager writes copy as needed, develop promotion events, and mangers project budget within departmental standards.
• Representing Marketing Communications on assigned and ad hoc teams, as well as at appropriate marketing launches, business, production and editorial meetings, cover meeting, division meeting, and other meeting as required. The Marcomm Manager also conduct meetings as necessary to successfully complete their projects.
• Maintains complete and accurate campaign information in the department’s project database; completes regular updates to project information at least weekly, and as required.
• Researching market and Marcomm practices via internal tools, school/campus visits, key convertions, etc., to keep abreast of the latest trends. The successful Marcomm Manager applies this knowledge to increase the effectiveness of promotional projects.
• Works closely with Business General Manager, Sales, IT, Creative-Multimedia, and other department members to build and maintain effective campaign models; as necessary, help drive the creation of processes for planning, scheduling, executing, tracing, and reporting to marketing and editorial the status & effectiveness of direct mail, internet based, and in/on-book campigns, event, etc.
• Manages Marketing Communications Staffs, supervises, reviews, and approves work as necessary to ensure campaign quality and to develop talent.
Requirements:
• Requires at least 2 years of managerial experience and 4-5 of proven experience in advertising, promotion, public relations, event organizers, or marketing, especially in media or cyber industry
• Bachelor or Master degree in communications, advertising, marketing, or an equivalent area preferred
• Project management and promotion experience required
• Must be able to manage and reliably deliver projects with overlapping deadlines, provide service to multiple discipline teams, and maintain the highest degree of quality and cutomer focus
• Microsoft Office proficiency and basic understanding of graphic design required. Also good command of English
• Customer-focused and result-oriented person
• Has good personality, wide networking, and strong leadership skills
• High integrity and very professional person
• Strong interest to develop career in media or cyber industry
2. General Manager Business
Responsibilities:
• Manage, develop and increase performance of business units, including: Sales-Marketing, Marketing Communications, Business Development, Research & Development, IT Production, Creative-Multimedia, Finance and E-Commerce
• Look for new breakthrough cyber business opportunities
• Arrange cyber business plan
• Attrack new potential customers
• Find and maintain business networking
• Handle daily activities such as monitoring and evaluating all business activities, reporting business progress and recent business trends from cyber point of view to the Board of Directors
• Develop Performance off all employees business units
Targets:
• Increase of customers
• Increase of revenue
Requirements:
• At least 10 years of proven experience in business and related field with minimum 5 years of experience in managerial level
• Has a good sense and applicated knowledge in cyber business & digital technology area
• Master Degree from reputable university in business, technology, or management
• Good command of English
• High achiever person, performance oriented
• Innovative, communicative, has a good personality with strong leadership & negotiation skill
• Has strong skill to develop and maintain teamwork
• High integrity & professionally person
• Good interest to develop career in cyber business & digital technology area
